Round Container
To determine circumference of the bag:
Multiply the diameter of the container by 3.14. Divide that total by 2 to get the flat width you need for your bag. (Add 1 inch for a looser fit)
Add 1/2 of the diameter to the height of the container. Add 5 inches to the total for overhang. This is the total length of the bag needed
if tying bag, add 1/2 the diameter to the bag length in # 2

The ideal bag is 28 x 32 x Gauge or 16 x 12 x 32 x Gauge
